Carol Chapman Dies at 84

We’re sorry to report the death of our member, Carol Chapman, on July 14, 2024, at the age of 84. She was a Seattle Branch member for 57 years and our branch president from 1979-1981. She and her husband (who predeceased her) were active in Haller Lake United Methodist Church for 50 years. They enjoyed travel, visiting all 50 states and 35 countries. Activate 3.8 – The Pay Equity Tour

On June 28th, the Washington State Women’s Commission (WSWC) kicked off their statewide Activate 3.8 Pay Equity Event in Seattle. A number of AAUW members volunteered and attended the event.
