Title IX Update

Recent events signify big changes for Title IX, the landmark 1972 law prohibiting sex discrimination in schools.  There are two prominent issues at stake:

Our Muslim Neighbors Suffering Discrimination

Over 80% of our Muslim neighbors in Washington state have suffered discrimination and/or bias in the past year. Responding to a survey, more than 80 percent of our Muslim neighbors over 13 years old have suffered anti-Muslim discrimination and/or bias in the past 12 months.
