To send a girl to camp costs about $1000. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. All campers are sponsored so that there are no financial barriers to attendance. Donate online to AAUW-WA Special Projects Fund
Or mail a check payable to AAUW-WA SPF to AAUW-WA SPF, P.O. Box 1665, Bellevue, WA 98009-1665. Write “Seattle” on the message line of your check.

What Will Your Legacy Be?

Since 2013, I’ve been a member of the AAUW Legacy Circle—the community of individuals who’ve affirmed their commitment to gender equity by designating AAUW to receive a planned gift after they’re gone. There are currently four Legacy Circle members in Seattle Branch and we would be proud to increase that number. It would also help us in our quest to achieve 5-Star status again.
While the concept of planned giving may sound daunting, or you’re feeling like the Legacy Circle isn’t for ‘regular’ people like us, neither is the case. There are many ways to make a planned gift, the simplest being to designate AAUW as a beneficiary for a portion of your IRA or Annuity. The paperwork is simple and, there is no minimum amount required!
