Variations on a Theme – A Message from Programs Chair Pamela Bradburn

“We’ve always done it that way.”  Since time immemorial, it seems, we’ve held our meetings Saturday mornings.  Your program committee and DEI lead are trying some variations during 2023-2024. AAUW-WA Annual Meeting Review

Our Washington State AAUW annual meeting – The Many Faces of AAUW was on-line Saturday, April 15 and was an excellent meeting. There were 65 attendees and over a dozen Seattle members were there. Marian Spath, Long Time Member, Dies in February 2023

Marian Spath, our Seattle Branch member who moved to Eugene, OR, in 2003, died in February at the age of 94. Marian was a Seattle native, taught 4th grade at EC Hughes elementary in West Seattle, volunteered as a docent at the Woodland Park Zoo, was a church organist, and was active in water aerobics classes at the Y.
