Lost and Found: Searching for Home is an exhibition at the Wing Luke Museum through September 14, 2026, of artists’ perceptions of home, place, and belonging within diasporic communities.  The artists are Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islanders who have produced paintings, videos, and other types of installations exploring these deeply emotional subjects.

Ai, Rebel: The Art and Activism of Ai Weiwei at the Seattle Art Musuem, Mar 12–Sep 7 2025. Everything is art. Everything is politics. Globally renowned artist Ai Weiwei (Chinese, b. 1957) is celebrated as a disruptor of artistic canons and a champion of free expression. In his work—ranging across performance, photography, sculpture, video, and installation—he deploys humor and provocation, calling upon his viewers to examine history, society, and culture. The Burke Museum has an exhibit opening on September 13, 2025 through August 30, 2026. Woven in Wool: Resilience in Coast Salish Weaving These art pieces were created primarily by women. This exhibit showcases both historical and contemporary woven items, as well as the materials and cultural and scientific knowledge used to create them.
