From Rocks to Rockets: How I Became a NASA Astronaut

Seattle AWIS is presenting this program with AAUW Seattle as co-host

Join us for an inspiring evening as former NASA astronaut Dottie Metcalf-Lindenburger shares her remarkable journey to space. With a background in applied geosciences and a passion for exploration, Dottie will discuss the challenges, opportunities, and unexpected moments that shaped her path to becoming an astronaut.

Attendees will gain firsthand insight into the training, teamwork, and perseverance behind human spaceflight, as well as encouragement for forging their own bold career trajectories. This is a rare chance to hear from a trailblazing scientist who has truly reached for the stars.
