Andrea Altheimer is the director of ReEntry – Community Passageways. This remarkable organization serves those transitioning from incarceration into the community. With more than twenty years of experience, their approach is personal and informed by the needs of their community.
With a deep understanding of the physical, emotional, and social needs of incarcerated individuals, they address these fundamental issues as well as assisting with employment, education, stable housing, financial literacy, family reunification, and cultural connections.
Andrea Altheimer is a dedicated advocate, leader, and expert in reentry services, committed to dismantling systemic barriers and supporting individuals as they successfully reintegrate into society. She has been instrumental in building and overseeing the program, ensuring that individuals impacted by incarceration, displacement, and homelessness receive the necessary support to reclaim stability and independence.
With over 20 years of lived experience and a proven track record of successful reintegration, Andrea brings a unique relatability to her work. Her personal journey fuels her passion, offering hope and tangible pathways for those navigating the complexities of reentry. She holds a college education and multiple certifications in trauma-informed care, including Multisystemic Therapy, Certified Peer Support Counseling, De-escalation, and Mediation.
