October AAUW WA In-person Meeting in Renton!

Since the State AAUW Meeting is so close to us, we’re encouraging all our members to attend this event instead of having a monthly meeting.

Hear our stories, view a film, and chat at our first in-person state event in over four years! Keynote speaker April Sims, chief executive officer of the Washington State Labor Council, will tell her very interesting story. View the film Arise Firebird, a powerful documentary that tells the stories of three resilient women of color pushed out of the corporate world due to toxic sexism and racism, and how they rebuilt their lives and careers on their own terms. Q&A with the film’s director live from London, group discussions, and more.
