Dr. Terry Gray earned a PhD in computer science from UCLA. As a senior technology manager, he spent much of his career at the intersection of technology and policy. After running the Center for Experimental Computer Science at UCLA and working at a Silicon Valley startup, Terry joined the University of Washington in 1988 as director of networks and distributed computing. When he retired in 2014, he was associate vice president for technology strategy and chief technology architect, as well as an affiliate professor in the computer science department at UW. He is currently an instructor with Edmonds Community College Creative Retirement Institute.
We are pleased to partner with Seattle AWIS for this program. Their mission is to create a broad interdisciplinary welcoming environment to advance the careers of women in science and technology and promote the participation of girls in the sciences.
This event is free to attend. Reminders will be sent out one week and one day before the event.
