We hope you can attend the April 15 AAUW Washington annual meeting on Zoom this year. To make it even easier, Seattle branch members can request reimbursement of the registration fee. The headline speaker, Emily Stone, will help us learn more about domestic violence in Washington State . Other speakers will be announced on the AAUW-WA website soon.
Why attend? Attending the meeting gives us time to garner fresh enthusiasm and motivation and to reflect on our own contribution to our organization. You’ll spend some time with women from around WA who value gender equity and are ready to commit some time to AAUW projects. Get some inspiration from them and from the speakers, who bring new ideas and a broader perspective to women’s issues.
